William A Smythe,  Product Manager for EGL and related products, announced today in an email broadcast the Eclipse EGL Web Developer Tools version 0.7 has been released. This is a very exciting announcement for the EGL community.  As an open, extensible compiler and generator framework, EGL Development Tools (EDT) will help developers “address the challenges of modern, multi-platform application development by providing a level of abstraction above lower level languages, frameworks, and runtime platforms.”
